smr1957 Posted August 4 Share Posted August 4 First things first - if you have any plugin mods that were not made using the Starfield Creation Kit (which is all plugin mods uploaded prior to June 9) or any that were never updated using the Starfield Creation Kit (just check the upload date in the file section - if it was a plugin mod uploaded before June 9, skip it), or any that are in an .esp format (which the game cannot use, see here for a full explanation), get rid of them and do not use them. This will require starting a new game (or rolling back to a save made before the removed mods were installed), as mods bake data into the save and this cannot be removed. As to sorting your load order, use LOOT - Load Order Optimization Tool - read the description page for installation instruction. Once installed and you run it for Starfield, you will need to sort your load order by clicking the Sort button in the upper left (the 3 staggered lines), and then, if LOOT has changed your load order, click Apply. And that's it for sorting! HeyYou Posted August 7 Share Posted August 7 Not sure xbox gives any chance to shuffle load order..... But, what you are experiencing is indeed a mod problem.... Look at what your mods are supposed to do, any of them that affect ship spawn rates would be the first ones I would be looking at. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Keelo6969 Posted August 7 Share Posted August 7 I'd move Starfield Community Patch to the top of load order. And with ships disappearing, could be a mod conflict or the 'soft cap' has been reached as missing ships in large or small quantities are the first to go when soft cap is reached, occurs with many people be it PC or xbox. And with you using Darstar, Avontech, and Derrtech ship mods, the could be conflicting or pushing your cap limit as the are large files and add lots of items. Also check that they have been updated to at least July update, as I had same issues when trying to use outdated Avontech mod. Hope any of this helps Cheers! Agood84 Posted August 28 Share Posted August 28 Hi similarish problem here, I have done a fresh reinstall of starfield, and of vortex to new folders. But old phantom mods that I dont even have on vortex anymore keep getting added back to my plugins file, I have tried deleting them from the plugins file, and vortex just re adds them afterwards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HeyYou Posted August 28 Share Posted August 28 Need to do a CLEAN reinstall of the game. Purge all mods via vortex, uninstall the game via steam, delete the install folder, (steamapps\common\starfield) delete the starfield folder in Documents\my games, and the folder in %appdata%\local.....
