You might need to copy that address like it says, and authorize the new version from the website like it says.

Or use the "Log in with token" link, if that doesn't work.  (I know I had to use a token like that to authorize Mod Organizer 2.)

Or have you tried both of those already?

Thanks for the heads-up! My PC was offline for several days due to a power outage and this is the first I heard about it./

Loaded vortex to see what the hubbub was all about and discovered a first, an **optional** update... (with all sorts of apparent gAmEr features, none of which seem to apply to my rather conventional use of the manager as a mod manager, not as a mod promo gizmo for games I'll never play) and one that, following your post, I think I'll wait on doing until they fix whatever bugs they stuck in it.

Well, on the plus side, kudos to the programming team for making it optional, instead of the mandated automatic updating anyway

Vortex Support forum here, probably.  On the front page of the Nexus forums, it's about halfway down.
