OverGransen
I wanted to try New vegas w mods after playing around 19 hours, I re-installed it, downloaded and installed NVSE, plus the 4gb patch and then Visual C++ and the Vortex mod manager. I restarted my computer (an old alienware-17 r3 I got almost a decade ago) and started the mod manager when this message popped up when I wanted to manage New Vegas. I'm not mod savvy (this is the second time I try to use a moded game ever), so any help is welcomed.
Pickysaurus
You can probably just ignore that message and it'll fix itself. The path looks correct.

Solution Pickysaurus Posted August 14 Solution Share Posted August 14 You've somehow got a folder at C:\Users\thebi\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\falloutnv\mods\__vortex_staging_folder This isn't something Vortex would do itself. Go to that folder and delete the folder mentioned above. This will fix your issue
OverGransen
Thank you very much I did as you said, then this error appeared: ENOENT: no such file or directory, stat 'C:\Users\thebi\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\falloutnv\mods\__vortex_staging_folder' Should I let it be? Check if Vortex and New Vegas are running with admin privileges. Verify NVSE and 4GB patch installations in the game’s main folder. Ensure you have the correct Visual C++ version and use LOOT for mod management. I wasn't expecting that I was gonna find your post. I was searching for the reviews online for this academized.com/write-my-essay website because over there I found an essay writer who will write my essay assignment. But before taking help from them, I want to read their reviews and when I was searching for it online, I found your post. ChemBoy1
You need to click "Browse" and set a new mod staging folder. Hopefully, you did not delete the entire "mods" folder from that path. That would be the default folder to use. Just select that folder
