FluffySpaceShark
So I am on 1.6.1170, using the Anniversary compatible version of Address Library, all mods are the most up to date version, IE I just redownloaded all of them, and I cannot launch the game, I get this error. I am at a loss. Nothing I've looked up has helped, and I really do not know what to do. EDIT: Now, I seem to have fixed it, idk what it was, but moved my Skyrim folder to my HDD instead of my External SSD, and it stopped giving the dll error. However now I get a CTD when I launch, it starts but immediately stops. My load order. Probably might have something that doesn't work with something else, but it's late so if anyone can look at it before I work on it in the morning I'd be appreciative. https://loadorderlibrary.com/lists/fluffyspaceshark-default
showler
First, check to make sure the address library files are in the "data/skse/plugins" folder.
SirCadsimar
Please tell us you didn't install game files into Windows' Program Files..? I did that once, didn't last too long... too many things didn't work well, some things wouldn't even work at all. FluffySpaceShark
I'm heading to bed, but if anyone knows what could be causing this I'd be grateful. I'll give it another once over, and worst case, deactivate mods till I know what the issue is.
SirCadsimar
Quote No, lmao, I have more experience than that at least. Okay cool good to know. I was just asking because back 2 years ago when I was still new to modding on PC, similar happened to me. Good night, rest well. 7531Leonidas
Have you searched through the Skyrim SE forum? 'Game Communities' at the top of the page, scroll to Skyrim, join the Skyrim SE section to post. Just searched it myself, someone else had a similar problem, had to update VC from MS. Maybe you should check/dl and reinstall it? Make sure to get the proper version of the installer for your machine... (Don't make the same mistake that I did, to d/l the x64 ARM version, not the x64 version!) SirCadsimar
Now that I think about it, I think I have seen someone else's post on a mod's comment page or bugs report that had some of the same mods, have the same problem. I think it was related to one or more of the HUD mods or True Directional Movement, which all broke very badly when the game updated.
