Cell mods not showing in game

Recommended Posts

So I modified an esp from here, More Children's Beds For Proudspire Manor because not interested in adopting kids so, duplicated the esp, renamed the dupe to follower beds, then deleted the 6 child's beds and replaced them with 3 adult double beds and changed some other decor in the cell, saved it as followerbeds.esp, that showed up enabled in vortex ok but it doesnt show in game, the 6 kids beds and the original decor hasn't changed. Where have I gone wrong ? The original mod is disabled, the modified esp is enabled but only the original items are showing in game ? Tia.

If you've already visited that cell and if the items in that cell were vanilla (in the game's own files, not entirely unique to the mod) then they will be stored in your savegame and won't be removed.

Now, if you added new items they probably should show up.  Unless you accidentally created an alternative version of the cell that is not accessible in the game (none of the doors are linked to it).

Part of the cell is vanilla when you buy the childrens bedroom (2 beds) the More childrens  beds mod, extends the cell and adds 4 more beds. How do i go about removing the original beds that were in the childrens bedroom purchase ? i have seen the word " persistent " when it comes to world objects, does this mean that any  time a " persistent " item is deleted ( such as the original 2 beds ) then it will automatically be remade the next time the cell loads ? and is there any way of stopping this. ?
