Outch. I believe that group chats should not be moderated like that - a handful of ppl can take care of themselves (there should however always be the option to report serious harassment/death threats etc). But general chats or region chats (don´t know how it is in warframe) are a different thing altogether. A tight ship needs to be kept on those, because ppl start to act like animals very fast and that chat ends up a cesspool, where no "normal" person dares to speak up anymore.

After a couple of years I sent a PM to a moderator asking if I could return if I was very careful, and she passed it around Nexus, and I received a reply from a different moderator saying I could return. The whole thing was very civil and considerate. The moderators are people just like us. I had and have no hard feelings, and clearly they had and have no hard feelings. As I said, I'm much happier in the Supporter section than I was in general audience section, though I admit these forums keep me nervous all the time because I assume they have the same rules as general audience which for me is ridiculously difficult to understand the line of what's okay and what's not.

Thats a bit easier for me of course since I consider my screenshots (that I post to the media section) as purely aestetic. Its not art, so its easy for me to just never post anything that has nudity in it. On the other hand, I am nervous about choosing my words carefully, because I am not an english native speaker and although my english is relatively fine, I have a hard time (sometimes) to read between the lines or understand slang words or figures of speech. I am afraid of saying something stupid/offensive by mistake

Yeah, my images either have partial or total nudity. I want to find a site that doesn't have rules against that.

The number goes up or down a bit here and there, but it's a community of consistent visitors and posters who make it worthwhile to share there. The irony is the non-Supporter section often feels a lot lewder than the Supporter section. Yeah, there are a few "lewd" posters in Supporter section (I actually just blocked one a day or two ago so as not to see his posts). But I either ignore or don't mind them, especially if they're making an effort to be artistic or at least are expressing joy in their work (exuberance goes a long way). But what I'm trying to say is, I'd rather have 25ish visits from consistent friends who are viewing my work sincerely as art than 100 visits from complete strangers who are visiting to gawk at what they consider porn. For instance, tonight I posted a slow motion ballet film to a slow gothic version of Guantanamera. My character is probably dressed modestly enough to use the regular non-supporter section, but I don't dare risk it. So I posted it in Supporter and am content with that. I also have a copy of it on Flickr which generally gets around 4 times as many visits as Nexus but from mostly different types of artists (non-gamers mostly). I feel like my screenshots may be misinterpreted as being strictly sexual. The thing is, I take a lot of pride in my looks, and my images are sort of a reflection of that. For example, my most recent screenshots are of my character (who is, of course, myself) in a lake and posing without clothing. I actually take pics of myself in real life doing similar things. Of course, I'm not out in public doing that, but I do take pictures of myself naked because it's how I express my pride in my appearance. I don't share these images publicly, but I do share them with a few friends of mine who enjoy seeing them. I made them promise to never show the photos to anyone else. However, I would like to share some of my new ones with anyone who is interested.

Well the is the "website we shan't name", won't be an issue posting ANYTHING considering what the mods are over there Regarding the suggestion, what you got in mind, just body stuff like physics enabled dingle dongs? I mean racial, homophobic, and other forms of slurs, I can understand. Other than that, it's kind of debatable what is offensive and what isn't.
