Kaian500
So I've been messing with bodyslide and I'm new to it. I was wondering how to create outfits for specific characters/npcs in game with different bodies. An example is two different sliders for the same outfits, one for a specific npc and then then one for the rest of the female vanilla npcs. Do I need to create empty mods and batch build a bunch of the same files for every specific npc that I want? Is there a mod that does this or an easier way? scorrp10
Consider looking into OBody NG - there is a standalone version if you don't want OStim as well. Basically what you need to do is build all clothing to 'Zeroed Sliders' preset, and make sure to check 'Build Morphs' option. Then, in game, you can assign BodySlide presets to NPCs directly. According to this article, one can fine-tune which preset(s) OBody will assign to any given NPC based on their race, faction, or sourced from a specific plugin. (I.e. one can make all Immersive Wenches NPCs get either CBBE Bombshell or CBBE Curvy.)
radiusrsatti
my method, I use UUAMR for scripted armor assignments... I use it to give all races their own standard bodyform... now, to isolate specific NPCs, you can build a custom race identical to the one the NPC uses, say BretonRace, rename it to "BretonRaceALt", and add or change the NPC armor race record to "BretonRaceAlt" then you can bodyslide your armors to the folder location BretonRaceAlt in UUAMR directory, and then run the script in SSEEdit for all the armors that were bodslid, targeting the "BretonRaceAlt" race... you can share this race with any number of NPCs to note, the new plugin can be built as an ESL plugin if your armor list results in less than 2048 new records, or 4096 with 1.71 plugin version... it could cause some storage bloat if your armor list is extensive, but from my experience does not cause any lag in-game second to note, this will also work for vampire races, but you have to add the race to the ARMA records that were built manually... I haven't attempted to figure out how to alter the scripting for automated additions third to note, depending on your armor list, this could take a while to build, and might not be worth it for you... I've put enough time and effort into this setup, I'd hate to ditch it for a different method... I don't like random body forms, either

Is there a mod that does this or an easier way? What you're describing sounds similar to the "Mashup" approach which I used in Fallout 4. Anytime I found an outfit I liked, I'd create my own plugin with various copies of it as different armor addon and armor records (and different constructible object records as well). Then I'd build each outfit in BodySlide to a different preset. For Skyrim, which supports a sliding bodyweight of 0 to 100, I do not recommend this as it's overkill and more work than it's worth. You could (and probably should) take the advice you received above, or you can do like I do in Skyrim which is I made a BodySlide preset where the 0 weight and the 100 weight are dramatically different. My zero weight is very slender, and my 100 weight is very buxom, so for me the 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 weights look very different but all beautiful. For me that's enough.
