Fouvale
Hi sisters and brothers, I try to dive into the depths of character maintenance as stated above and I would like to know how I can achieve the goal to run my character with HDT-SMP or FSMP while all other NPCs stay with their standard. Can anybody give me tips or advice on how to archive this? I'm looking forward to the discussion and would be very thankful if you cracks would help me. Thank you in advance. ArcaneTourist
Cloudflare blocking me. Options are in the CBPC System ini. If you're looking to reduce CPU load, the CBBE 3BA (3BBB) body allows you to mix and match which portions of the body use SMP and which portions use CBPC. ArcaneTourist
Cloudflare blocking some words? ActorDistance = 1024 #Actors beyond this distance are ignored for collision. InCombatActorCount = 20 #Actor count to process in combat, sorted by distance OutOfCombatActorCount = 40 #Actor count to process out of combat, sorted by distance

Not only is Arcane Tourist right about this, but it's one of the features I most love about 3BA. The FOMOD for 3BA lets you decide what type of physics you want for your character, and I've tried various combinations. My favorite (by far) is to use CBPC for the body physics and to leave FSMP strictly to clothing, hair, jewelry and the like. I simply prefer how the CBPC moves on the body. I can't link film examples of it (though I have several in the Nexus Supporter image share), but basically, the SMP-style physics on the body is very subtle and don't move much, whereas the CBPC actually feels like there's momentum and gravity. In Summary, I don't use FSMP for body motion at all. But I do have it installed and love it for non-body motion.
scorrp10
Just build all vanilla outfits in Bodyslide using a non-physics option. As well as any outfits that may be distributed to NPСs. But outfits that you will be wearing as player build using a physics model (i.e. 3BA).
Fouvale
@Karna5 @scorrp10 ah, okay. I forgot to mention that my Char uses the BHUNP Body Model and I have CBPC active and it's working. So I can activate FSMP and use it for clothing, armor, HAIR, jewelry and so. CBPC is already configured for my body. So when I build my BHUNP-Cloth and -amor for my body model with my physic body model FSMP will take control over it. And for the others/NPCs I build with a non-physics model the remaining vanilla cloth and armor and so on. That's it? Really?
ArcaneTourist
Cloudflare still blocking some posts but not others, so I'll be terse. Yes, as Scorrp10 implied, physics is attached to the armor/clothing objects. If you have physics hair mods installed, NPCs might get those. Fouvale
Ah okay, I must prove if this costs me to much FPS, but mostly I don't see other NPCs than my currently 3 and so this shouldn't break my fps to much. But first I must solve that Freeze-Problem I caught yesterday evening when manipulating a esp in that s#*! Creation Kit. Since then my Char is frozen in the T-Style and I can load saves I like it seems it is a general problem with the engine or the character animation. Still figuring out how I can fix that s#*!. Yes, if BHUNP works like 3BA with regard to body physics, then when you picked CBPC for your body, it doesn't matter how you build your body in BodySlide, the body is going to use the CBPC for breast/butt/belly/whatever and will only use the FSMP for non-body stuff like clothing and jewelry. I've tested this several times, and the FOMOD option you pick for the body is what you get regardless of how you build it in BodySlide so long as you pick the right body. The reason is that BodySlide sets the bones used but not the physics in the body. Your installation configuration is what picks the body physics. p.s. for clarity: Because I use 3BA, all that matters is I build in BodySlide the body/outfit with the 3BA bones. As you use BHUNP, all that matters is that you build in BodySlide the body/outfit with the BHUNP bones.

It sounds like you need to refresh the animations in FNIS or Nemesis or whatever you use to install animations into your game (I use Nemesis).
