[Mod Question] Mods that increase performance around the Riften forest area

I'm using reshade + preset on SE with settings tuned for performance (and surprisingly the game looks 4x better than any performance heavy ENB).

Comments aside, the only area where the game kind of struggles is the Riften wilderness area. I'm wondering what I should do with it, if there's anything to be done.

SSE Engine Fixes ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230 ) has some fixes for the Riften area in particular.  Check out its mod page.  If you decide to use it, be very careful to read (and follow) the install instructions, and to get the proper version for your Skyrim version, along with matching prerequisites.

eFPS - Exterior FPS boost is helpful to me. It reduces draw calls with occlusion culling. But as you can imagine, it needs heavy patching (patches for most popular overhauls already exist though).
