Karna5
I noticed you didn't get any comments on this yet, and my best guess is that you mention a lot of mods many of us (certainly me) have never heard of. It might help if beneath each name you also mentioned what you like about those mods. That would give context and let readers get a better sense of why you consider them so good. Plus that would also be very helpful to those of us who don't know what those mods are
Moksha8088
Karna, thanks for the suggestion but I am a bit lazy and my hands hurt from typing (arthritis). Fortunately, Googling each mod I listed together with the term Skyrim SE will give readers the page on the Nexus and that will say more than my meager words. Since each one is an outstanding mod, there are also videos of each one on YouTube. I have truly appreciated past posters making recommendations to me and I wish to pass on some known mod delights to others. Good playing to all mod fans and enjoy!
Moksha8088
Incidentally, all except for Inigo involve a lot of quests. That is what I find valuable to keep Skyrim interesting. No boobs, Quests No shiny swords, Quests Pepsi, Cheeseburgies, and Quests!

AaronOfMpls
Alternate Start: Live Another Life, and the many start plugins that other modders have made for it. Just so we don't have to sit through that cart ride every friggin' time we restart, or risk adding new mods to a Helgen save. And SkyUI, for giving us the interface the PC version probably should've had to begin with. Edited October 8 by AaronOfMpls

But then I installed Community Shaders and got it working again.

Honestly, what sold me on Community Shaders more than anything was the rainy-weather ground effects (splashes, rain puddling, shiny surfaces), and now the subsurface shimmer effect in the water. Nice to know it indirectly fixed your lighting issue though. FWIW, I use Quick Light for my "lantern" (I choose the non object assigned light source instead of attaching it to a lamp or magic ball)
