DomegMod
Hi, I added a game to my vortex manager but I when I wanted to launched the game, it could not because it was looking for particular launcher which is not installed on my computer. I looked at the game detail and I realized that I have chosen Epic instead of EA (Game Store). Is there way I can modify that setting ? I tried to uninstall the mod and reinstall it hoping it would take me to the steps once more so I could choose the correct game store but to no avail. thank you Edited October 5 by DomegMod Missing word
ChemBoy1
Good point. They should probably add a button there to change the game store, just like you can change the install location. On a side note - DId the automatic discovery not work for you? I am the author of that extension, and it should be detecting the install location automatically for the EA version from the Windows Registry. You might need to run the game once to get those registry entries, though. You can always select "Stop Managing" there, run the game once, and then add the game in Vortex again. DomegMod
@ChemBoy1, thank you for answering. I tried the "Stop managing" option, ran the game once, and the game in Vortex. It kept the location it had before (don't know if it's supposed to do that) but it did ask me to choose another store. EA was not one of them. So i tried Origin. When I tried to launch the game it show the message that led me to post my issue here in the first place . See attached file.
Pickysaurus
The "Manually set location" option should let you pick the game store as well as the path
