Errigk
I'm currently installing a Skyrim collection with 1500 mods and in the beginning everything was fine but since 2 hours ago, the downloads fail, returning error code 429. Everytime that happened I would pause the collection download which in turn forced me to close vortex via the task manager because it becomes unresponsive. I then would cancel all pending downloads and delete all failed downloads, including the previously canceled ones before resuming the collection download. at first in continued normally therefore i thought it was just a temporary error on my part, however since 20 minutes ago, whenever I tried to stop the collection and so on, whenever I resumed, the downloads kept failing. As you can see in this screenshot the request fails, whenever vortex has to open a "api.nexusmods.com" link. Also relogging into vortex and restarting my pc didnt seem to help aswell. Also i dont think i am just unlucky and alll the needed mods have expired links or missing permissions because vortex also fails to load tracked mods. Could it simply be a problem caused by the amount of links leading to nexusmods, that inevitably get requested during such a big mod list? If so, I'll probably update this topic tomorrow
Solution Errigk Posted October 21 Author Solution Share Posted October 21 So i just found out there is a daily limit of 10 000 requests per day and each mod needs 3 requests when using vortex. after continuing an hour later i was able to install 82 more mods which would indicate 6 requests so no clue what the f*#@ is going on
