Maharg67 Posted yesterday at 03:27 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 03:27 AM (edited) Post #91 TWFF[One][47.1][79][79] EverEye gained a greater view of the whole of Hopenorth as if from above, a general observation, while an ever expanding number of EverEyelets obtained sharper, closer, examinations of specific areas. RedSIplastico now focused more on natural disasters than did GreenGIplastico though the latter often supported the former. Except that the RedSIplastico sometimes found themselves dealing with more exotic threats, with their particular technologies. RedSIplastico soldiers used high pressure waterpulse cannons to blast the rogue fire-elementals threatening a wildfolk village. Wild rifts had started causing trouble in the northern area, of Hopenorth, and through riftholes had come through a wide range of entities; far from all had proven to be dangerous. Rift detection tech, in the form of remotedrones and other forms, had helped detect the opening of rifts in that zone. Wildmilitia had quickly reported what was going on to the Free Alliance that was partly Rainbowliance. Big waterpulse helicopters attacked the fire-elementals from above even as fixed wing water bombers did the same. In the water was nontoxic, biodegradable, very efficient fire retardant. Army truck based fire-engines, trucks with modular backs, used waterpulse guns and high pressure hoses. The Plastico itself was now much more resistant to heat, fire and other kinds of threats that it had once been very vulnerable to; it had always been quite so but now faced stronger threats, than before, that put it at risk. This made Plastico like many other factions. Seekars assisted as Seekaresponders, EverFolk as many types and Wildmilitia acting as fire-fighters. The Wildmilitia worked, with other wildfolk, to deal with secondary fires but they were not the only ones to do so. An EverFollower struck a fire-elemental with a pale, pulsating, beam and it vanished as it was abruptly sent back to its home, dimensional, realm. The intruders were not strongly anchored to Hopenorth. Seekaresponders dropped off basic home modules for the wildfolk. Though no wildfolk had been killed, some were wounded, and a Seekaresponder medical centre was dealing with them. More, of the weakened fire-elementals, were sent back to their home dimension; they had been damaged by the water based attacks. For just a few seconds a large, wild rift, opened up to expose a terrible blacker than black, greasy smokey, entity. It emanated sheer evil and yet it was not like any as known to Hopenorthers. Such rifts, showing the same monstrous evil, opened briefly on Stanecape, in the Cassingvillezone, in the Alishana Abandonment Zone and above Omegaforce. Omegaforce was the airship, and aeroship, airborne taskforce coming from the Brotish Imperial Enclave in Hopenortheast. The UoE (Union of Empires), the BCE (Brotish Constitutional Empire) and the UCoC (United Commonwealth of Citystates) had joined the Free Alliance; this was inspired by the start of growing, exotic, troubles on Hopeeast that were like those that had been happening on Hopenorth. More reinforcements, other than Omegaforce, would not be sent to Hopenorth because of that but Omegaforce had been boosted, in size and power, as compensation. Omegaforce was so close to the great, fortified, port city of Hopeyork that its large harbour was well visible in the distance. It was greatly important to coastal shipping along most of the eastern coast of Hopenorth. Long ago it had been a Romanard castlecity. The great, graceful, formation of flying ships was accompanied by powerful dragons native to Hopenortheast but who lived in the enclave. In the aeroships, and airships, were other nonhuman allies though not all as dangerous as were that type of tribal dragons. Some rested, or even slept, on special platforms. Maharg67
Post #92 TWFF[One][47.2][80][80] Follows directly on from previous post. Shazzantacca witnessed a brief appearance of the great evil as it did so above its grand, central, step-pyramids. Yet, in recent centuries, the people of that supercity had experienced so much that was strange that they mostly did not take much account of it. The wild rift appeared closer to the suncavernland's ceiling than it did to the supercity below it. A cloudboat, called that because part of it looked like an oddly thick cloud, came too close and its cloud-sailors all fainted; one fell overboard only to be saved by a safety harness. An aspect, of the EverSage, viewed it with trepidation; as one Professor Clarice Wisedom she had with her three EverFollowers as EverScholars and five EverMinions as EverStudents. She had been sent to the strange metropolis to do an update study on it for EverUniversity but had been increasingly convinced that a bigger, deeper, investigation was needed; now she had decided to request an even stronger intervention than that. Another such rift materialised, briefly, above the Zigguratzi to little effect thanks to the tridome protecting it. Yet the mixed types, of Godzi, inside it did detect it and became deeply concerned. The Zigguratzi was one of many such being largely a solid state 'instrumenttality' as created to help finalise the creation of the Multiarkdiskworld of the 13 Arkdiskworlds; thus were the true names of those great structures and the combination of them. Through the instrumenttality the Godzi managed to pick up some interesting, useful but also some disturbing data. Then what of any such wild rift that the EverEye did not experience through the EverEyelets? Edited 4 hours ago by Maharg67 To show that this story has been edited from the start.
