Maharg67
Post #81 TWFF[One][39.1][68][68] Shanza13 dropped down through an open slidehatch in the ground that had been so for a very long time. The 13 did so as a single Seekaguardian of those dealing with the mutational threats of the AAZ. Shanza12o13 fired off his triplecarbine as toxic, acid burning, spikes struck his energy bodybubble. The superconcrete tunnel quivered, almost as if it was a living thing, as Shanza12o13's unleashed rocket-bullets that exploded into a mutant plant. The very tough creature was driven back as its roots were not in the tunnel but in a neighbouring cave. Such recon patrols were undertaken, across Alishana, in a randomised fashion thanks to the 'great hidden intelligence' whose existence was often glimpsed by the Seekaguardians. They continued deeper into what had been some kind of research development supercomplex. It had been closed down centuries before the TTTs took place and, officially, had remained so. They turned to the left, along with the curving tunnel itself, that no recon patrol had been to before. Only once had a patrol gone to the supercomplex but that had been over a century ago. Odd, inexplicable, energy signatures had led to the patrol being diverted from its normal course. It was the form, of the energy signature, that was deeply concerning as the last time such had taken place was during the TTTs. A squad13+, of Seekaguardiets, followed as elite soldiers serving the Seekaguardians. As the tunnel ramped downwards, the deeper they got into the old complex but it appeared standard for what it was; that is a superconcrete structure from the Second Age. Officially it had always been considered to be important but not greatly so. A large sign announced that close by was the Testing Chamber for the Hendricks Hyper Velocity Zero Thrust Cannon Project. It was most likely a title that was meant to be misleading, that meant little or even nothing. Just past a hulking, long deactivated, security remoterobot was a contradiction. On their left was a typical utility alcove as found in such places but on their right was a transmultidimensional buttressed rift hole that was also locked. Despite this one could see through it, though not clearly, a mass of slowly writhing mutated living organic materials of different types. That is animal, plant, fungi and other substances not so easily defined. It was clearly too dangerous to go there, even for such as they, so they kept following the gently down sloping tunnel. Looking through the next, locked, buttressed, rift hole was to look at a bioplastic arrow shaped sign, of vaguely wooden make, that read '201 KILOMETRES TO CASSINGVILLE'. Shanza03o13 spoke to all others, there, through 2waycoms. “This is more than just a rift link to the Cassingvillezone but an important clue to its history; Seekakind fled to there during the TTTs and, more recently, Seekadominators manifested there that Sharryprime now fears are created by our very own Seekagoddessgods. It has long been strongly theorised that rifts are one way of strengthening the use of longer range manifesting abilities.” The newly materialised Rainbowsphere bobbed up and down, just a little. “Your Seekagoddessgods not do naughty manifestations; Antiseekagoddessgods are doing that like they did so during the TTTs of your world. Me is lovely Allme'dibbly representing all wonderful Dibblys. Multi'dibbly grows slowly-steadily stronger, better coordinated, more self aware with help of Dibblysmum and Dibblysfriends. We Dibblys are healing from bad ways we were created. You Seekars are lucky to be Dibblysfriends but we Dibblys are lucky to have you as Dibblysfriends.” Shanza03o1 spoke. “We Seekakind have lost much knowledge of the First Cycle of the Hopediskworld. We know that there were, in the Damnation War, the Antigodzi and even the Antiseekagodzi but the idea of something called the Antiseekagoddessgods is unfamiliar to us.” Edited Sunday at 08:38 AM by Maharg67 To show that this story has been edited from the start. Maharg67
Post #82 TWFF[One][39.2][69][69] Follows directly on from previous post. Allme'dibbly: “Dibblysmum told us of the Antiseekagoddessgods but only so much as Iself has told you. Sharry13o13 has visited Seekaenclave that is now part of the new Cassingvillezone Greater Sanctuary Zone, the CGSZ though the CCSZ still exists as such.” They moved onwards, passing a bigger rifthole that was even more stabilised, and locked, than previous ones had been. Through it they observed an army mecha machines, heavily armoured and armed, striding across the toxic wreckage of Stanecape. The more legs they had, the bigger they were as in length but not in width or height. They were marked with the emblem of the Undoagodzi that included the symbol of the Undoatorcs. The army was in the distance and did not seem to detect the rifthole. Allme'dibbly spoke. “That is happening on other Stanecape of Doomstralia and not Hopetralia. That is on Doomsdiskworld, and not Hopediskworld, of the Multidiskworld. Maybe those Undoagodzi are being, somehow, sneaky.” Shanza01o13 took a turn to speak. “The Undoagodzi Forces have seemingly vanished away but what if they did manage to shift across from Hopediskworld to Doomsdiskworld? Stanecape covers much more of Doomsnorth than it does Hopenorth, that is comparing the two versions of Stanecape. We Seekars know very little, of Doomsdiskworld, except such details as that is only sparsely populated compared to Hopediskworld. It is also far harsher as in almost any way that you can think of. As far as we Seekars know, none of our kind have been there since Doomsday.” A sharp, surprising, realisation went through the Seekaprimes at that moment that could be called a 'reality check'. It came with more questions than answers but it was to prove to be a vital breakthrough for all Seekakind. The patrol, plus a Dibbly, kept following the tunnel downwards.
