Nexus can't check for skyrim mods

Whenever I try to click the button to check for mod updates (or nexus does it automatically) it returns an error with the code ERR_UPDATER_INVALID_SIGNATURE. I'm really at a loss here and am not sure what to do with this information.  As I was typing this it did find 3 updates, however I'm not sure if it will remain functioning a second time.
