Vortex not installing

Whenever I attempt to download vortex it either says it was improperly installed and to uninstall and try again, or it never opens. I am on the newest version of Windows 11 and Net 6.0 like I'm supposed to be. Any ideas why it's not working?

Can you screenshot the error?

This kind of thing is usually caused by your local security apps blocking the install.

It looks like your C++ redistributables are broken. Try following this fix:

I tried following the thread but nothing there seems to be helpful. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling C++ and my .NET 6.0, however it still has the same issue.

That would suggest that something on your PC - possibly a security app - is causing this failure. Do you have any non-Microsoft security apps installed?

McAfee is turned off and Microsoft Defender is the only other security app my PC has

Nevermind I just found out that McAfee keeps quarantining vortex and it won't let me restore the file

I had the same issue, but now everything is solved. What about you? Is everything good now?

Not yet, I need to contact McAfee and figure out why they suddenly started quarantining it after 3 years of not doing it.
