Deleting A Game Play Through

I'm talking about deleting the entire play through of a character.

I see that I can delete a "save game" in the game menu.  However, I have not found a way to delete an entire character and all of the saves in one move, from the menu.  Does that mean that I can only delete it by deleting the folder in the Windows Directory?  If so, where exactly is that folder, and how is the folder labeled so that I know I'm deleting the correct folder?

Also, how do I delete that character game play from Steam's cloud?

Saves should be in Documents - My Games - Skyrim Special Edition - Saves

If you use MO2 and profiles they might be in the MO2 folder under profiles.
I don't know where Vortex might put saves.

Don't know about Steam's cloud.

Are you using MO2 or Vortex? I know MO2 has profile specific saves in their Profile folder in the MO2-Skyrim folder. But you must set up profiles first. Without that you would have to check each save by loading it. If you do set up profiles, you can afterwards cut and paste the saves into the profile/saves folder. Can't think any other or quicker way to separate out different character saves. Vortex is probably similar.

Is it possible to guess by the save date and time of the save? Unless you were often switching back and forth.

You might be able in game to organize a bit. Load a save, open the console and immediately savegame CharacternameAndLocationOrGameDate. Then load the next save and do the same. Then you could delete all the unnamed saves.
