Hellnetfox Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 So i recently came back from a long time of not modding and i installed the game as ussual but when i tried to open it it just stayd in a black screen and nothing happens, but if i take out either of the .dll files the game opens just fine just without any mods, ive tried everything and i dont know what im doing wrong, also i dont hear the 3 beeps when you open the game (with mods)
Dragon32 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Try replacing version.dll with Online Content Unlocker or Online Content Unlocker Lite. ignign0kt23 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I just updated my game to the latest build, and now no release of dinput8.dll works. The game doesn't launch. Tried the dll from ScriptHookRDR2 V2, from Blade, and from Ultimate ASI Loader. The game will only launch if I remove dinput8.dll entirely. What could be the issue? I'm about to just re-install the game with the old version..
Dragon32 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I'm not sure what's happening there. I'd guess one of your .asi mods is causing the crash. I just booted up the game with the Script Hook I linked and no CTD for me, running with ~40 .asi mods
