Invalid URL error when attempting to install collection

I'm experiencing an error trying to download Gate to Sovrngarde where Vortex won't accept the nxm link generated when you click "Add Collection." I just get the "Invalid URL" error. Here's what I've done to troubleshoot so far:

1. Confirmed Vortex is latest version: 1.13.2

2. Tried several different collections to verify it's not an issue with the collection itself

3. Fresh install of Vortex

4. Fresh install of Skyrim

5. Made sure the browser I was using was set to default. Fresh install of browser.

6. Restarts between each step.

Can anyone help me figure out the next step to troubleshoot? It looks like the only documentation for this issue online is for much older versions of Vortex..

Thank you in advance for any help!

I don't remember the update number unfortunately but this is on a fresh reinstall of vortex and checking for updates saying it's up to date thinking that would fix it. It did not.

I am trying to install a collection for Skyrim Anniversary after having to do a fresh reinstall as the game corrupted beyond repair somehow. The only "mods" I currently have installed are SKSE current version, the Anniversary content, and a couple of the new verified creator mods. I have tried multiple times to install a collection, including an old one I had that was outdated but was the first I had from before the corruption, and nothing is working. Every single time I get the invalid url error, and the staging folder is the right location as well though I don't know if that is relevant. I don't know what is going on and it's rather upsetting.

Which version of Vortex are you using? (e.g. 1.8.0)

 - 1.13.2

  • Which game are you modding and which game store did you purchase it from? (e.g. Skyrim SE from GOG)

- Skyrim SE from Steam

  • Which mods are you trying to use?

- Gate to Sovngarde Collection

  • What steps did you take before you encountered the error?

- Reinstall Vortex and put onto new drive

  • What is the specific error message you received? (Provide a screenshot if possible)

I've been trying different mods with Skyrim and ended up having to do a fresh start after already trying a few collections. Now, whenever I try to add a collection, Vortex gives me a red Invalid URL error. I deleted every mod I had and all my save files and still can't add any collections. Anybody know why?
