Skyrim mods download for VR instead of SE.

The title explains itself. Why does it happen? Also I'm using 1.12.6 Vortex.

Skyrim SE and VR use the same section of the website and always have, so the downloads appear for both games.

It's true but I want to change it to not download for Skyrim VR. It bothers me. There isn't an option or something?

No, they go in the same folder in Vortex so they will appear for both games. You can go into the downloads tab after the file is downloaded, double click it and change the games it applies to in the side panel. I can't recall if this can be done in batches though

I have the same issue and I don't even have Skyrim VR. Whats up with that?

Started to happen to me today. Vortex will not show the mods for Skyrim SE/AE, only VR. So I have to manually install mods because they will not even show up now in the Mod section when I download for SE/AE.
