A topic dedicated for searching existing mods.

Not restricted to just nexusmods, also includes moddb, former planet sites (like planet elder scrolls), net archives, collections, translated/ national mods which most likely never presented in large mod sites. Also can include offline packs/ rars which may contain long forgotten/ "lost" mods.

Is there any mod which:

1. Let you zoom on the local/ global map?

2. Enlarge the player compass on local/ world map?

3. Adds a north marker to the normal screen both first and third person?

Not aware any - maybe others do.

There is mod allows you to set multiple marks on your map, but not sure if there is compass add on to find your way without open your map. Actually very good idea.

Hi,

i'm the mod creator of this Morrowind mod:

And a number of NoMansSky mods here on Nexus (as Sweetdaggerfall):

https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/SweetDaggerfall/mods?gameId=1634

I'm also the author of this thread (not finished) on modding Morrowind:

https://forum.quartertothree.com/t/zaks-morrowind-mge-xe-experience/75490

Anyway it's been a long time since i ran Morrowind and was involved in modding it etc but i find myself currently with time to rebuild a modded Morrowind game and need help tracking down a specific overhaul mod that was pretty popular back in the day.

The problem is i don't have a name for the mod, and my PC with it on the hard-drive is in deep storage. The mod was one of the deep overhaul mods, like Super Adventure and i guess things like Morrowind Advanced, Wakim's game improvements or BTB's game improvements.

The overhaul had it's own website with graphics and details all about it, the general idea of the mod creator was to rebalance many things (like Wakim and BTB's mods did) while adding some extra content, but keeping it realistic within the Morrowind game world. It was especially detailed in improving things like stealth and balancing item weights and sizes for most objects you could use (weapons and armour etc).

I've tried using Grok to help in tracking down the mod, but as that relies totally on internet information that could be lost, like many of our sources for Modding Morrowind? So if anyone knows what this could be, and even better where to find it now that would be awesome.

No, but that is a good call, and a great mod. I'm wondering if maybe something like Super Adventures had it's own site years back, and maybe it was that? Still i'm 80% sure it was another mod..........ok i just got it, I was thinking of Francesco's Creatures and Items mod for OBLIVION! It used to have it's own website, but it seems the latest version (v5) is here on Nexus, but yeah NOT a Morrowind mod.

So i think with that confusion and looking back at the old modding thread i did at Qt3 forums, it looks like i was using one of the Adventure mods in my Massively Modded Morrowind build from way back, and just had the wrong idea it was Francesco's! Sorry about that.

As an aside the modest laptop i'm currently building a new modded Morrowind on, just has an intel iRISXe chipset, but handles MGE XE fine, and the rest of the mod build ok, so tech has moved on pretty well this last decade ๐Ÿ™‚
