dimoedesofargos2
Hi everyone, I just bought Skyrim SE off Steam last night. I'm trying to add the mods from the Skyrim Modding Essentials list, but every time I download a mod, I get the prompt "No compatible game being managed - "The game(s) associated with this download are not being managed, Install for the currently managed game?" This is despite me having Skyrim SE selected as my currently managed game, and the game folder path being correctly selected. I use Vortex to mod FO3 and Oblivion with 50+ mods each with no problem, and I've never had this issue before. What's going on?
Solution Pickysaurus Posted January 2 Solution Share Posted January 2 I'm not sure what users are doing to cause this. Make sure you have the latest version of Vortex. Every report I've seen so far was an outdated copy of Vortex and was fixed when they updated

My Vortex was fully updated, but uninstalling and reinstalling it solved the problem.
Pickysaurus
It's weird. I've seen a few scattered reports of this but I've no idea how it happens. There's got to be something in common in all setups that see this. I've tried to deliberately break my setup in ways that I thought would reproduce the error but so far no luck. Glad you got it working though!
