LevisageDeDior Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Hi, I’ve released a few mods, but I ended up being really unhappy with... well, basically everything about them later on. So, I decided to create refreshed versions. I hid the original mods and selected the option "there is a new version released" (or something similar - you get the point). When hiding the old mods, I included a link to the new versions in the notification message that pops out. The issue is that when I hide the old mods, SOME of them seem to get opted out. Is this supposed to happen? Should I wait a whole month to earn points from the previous versions before hiding them? Or is this some kind of bug? I’d really appreciate an explanation because I’m not sure whether I should wait or... > If this is the wrong section of the forum, I apologize. I wasn't sure if it should go in the general Skyrim SE section or the Modders section, but I thought the second one would be a better fit.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted January 13 Community Manager Posted January 13 Moved to the relevant forum. When a mod is hidden, it is intentionally opted out of DP. Hidden, moderated or deleted mods don't qualify for DP, only the ones that are public and visible to all users. This FAQ answer may also help you: Quote How are the Donation Points Reports generated? When the reports are generated, a snapshot is taken of all mods that were available and opted into the Donation Points system on the last day of the month (i.e. 30 Sept 2024 23:59:59). This snapshot is then used to calculate the Donation Points share for each user. Mods that are opted-out, hidden, in moderation, or deleted at the point the snapshot is taken will not be included in the DP report for that month.
LevisageDeDior Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 I'm sorry for the trouble with the wrong forum, and thank you for your answer.
