Flamatik Posted March 20 Posted March 20 This UI change is a complete nightmare. Everything feels so disconnected and it's stressful to navigate. Why is everything so spaced out? The previous compact design made things easier to comprehend and look at from a first glance. Now I have to scroll for ages. And don't get me started on this new search function. Why do I have to pick from a list after searching for something to be able to see mods and not something else (images, videos, etc.)? It adds a new and pointless extra step. I understand the need to change things to make it easier for maintenance or whatever, but whoever designed this has no idea what users actually want. It's very exhausting and straining on the eyes. 12
Vouru Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Make the mod lists at the very minimum a line instead of this horizontal crap you have going on. 3

Tegra795 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) I don't like the new UI, please revert it back to old one. The only thing that I like about this new site update is quick mod search fuction look. Edited March 20 by Tegra795 2
Therrao Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) I can live with the overall design change, it'll take some time but i can probably vibe with it the more i use it. but please, can we make the 'Collection' dismissable? I know they're integral part for easier modding for a lot of newcomers and ppl that don't build their own modlist, but I would like an option for someone like me, who's NOT into Collection to dismiss it so it stop showing in the homepage? If i ended up wanting to try Collection, I still have the drop down menu up top anyway, i'm not stupid to not notice it. I also missed the color coded for each games, i get that it's a remnant from old code or whatnot, but it is genuinely such a neat feature to have for a bit more flair and personality for the game page. also, is there an option to change the background color? Pure black is not as pleasant to look at compared to darker gray in the old design for me personally. would love an option to at least change that. thank you. Edited March 20 by Therrao
chwony Posted March 20 Posted March 20 lol, I figured out why the friggin mod columns are so narrow. I opened the page on my phone and found the columns are made to fit two phone screen columns. So they spent all this time making the Nexus UI into a phone interface. Great work... hope you have great success with your new target audience. 7 1 1 2 1
pilonexyz Posted March 20 Posted March 20 The New UI is hideous, at least on PC. Looks like a mobile adapted with gigantic images and tiny font words. At least give us opportunity to choose between old and new in profile preferences. Why change the previous one? That was perfect. 7
SQr17 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 The new design is plain awful, in every sense. It lacks colour, and clarity and is just harder to navigate. Great job. 9
