"...it is bad" isn't useful or constructive feedback. We aren't going to be making changes based on subjective feedback.

There has been plently of constructive feedback which you and others refuse to respond to. Only replying to those who say the features are missing rather than the people telling you how to make the website run better and look better and why the original design worked perfectly and why the new one doesn't. I and several others have given paragraphs of constructive criticism.

Actively ignorant. I may even say hostile by removing the function to take /games/ out of the URL to return to the old design, as it's just a big middle finger to the userbase.

Damage control will be the next step, I'm betting on it.

This is a subtle part of the issue right now. The only communication we are seeing as users is negative. Depending on context the replies we get are some form of:

  • No reply at all
  • No, you are wrong
  • No, that is not intended
  • No, that feedback is useless
  • No, you need to accept the change
  • No, this feedback is not welcome here

There's more nuance to it, but ultimately the overwhelming majority of staff interaction with users on this change is currently negative, or at best a non-interaction.

With all due respect to the folks that did the website work (I know it wasn't a trivial task), but, this new look is absolutely awful.

I'm looking at this on my PC and 2/3's of the screen is blank with only the middle having some kind of content. Then there's this huge black bar at the top that has nothing in it. It would appear to me that this was optimized to be viewed on a phone, and that's it. This looks so bad I actually restarted my browser because I thought something was hosed in the page loading and Chrome got stuck somehow... sadly this was not the case.

Who approved this hot garbage? Why do we have to 'improve' everything that isn't broken beyond recognition.

If that same look was applied to this very forum page, of the 88 pages of posts shown today 3/20/2025, there would be be 264 pages of postage stamps to read.

For the love of all that's holy, please go back to the classic look, or have a user configurable button to switch between classic and eye torture.

Attached is what the mod page looks like on my machine, versus what the forum that I'm typing in now looks like... One of these things is not like the other!

PLEASE fix this.

am i able to use the old UI this one is really difficult to use and it lacks a lot of the cool and amazing features that the old UI used such as trending mods or most popular in 30 days. when searching it makes it more difficult as i have to go through multiple links just to get to the search that i would have gotten to in one try on the old UI
