idk what do i need to do to fix this so far ive done these two things:

1- disable & reenable the mods i have installed on vortex.

2- copy and paste tweakdb_ep1.bin file in Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded directory

Not sure if it'll help but try clearing out all the files in this cache directory, they'll be recreated on next game load

Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded

If that doesn't help then I'd guess an outdated mod, check which ones haven't been updated since the patch and try disabling them.

Finally, this is a really good resource: https://wiki.redmodding.org/cyberpunk-2077-modding/for-mod-users/user-guide-troubleshooting

You may need to bisect your modlist to find the problem one

i tried your suggestion of clearing the cache and didnt work sadly.

i also uninstalled all the mods yesterday but made sure to make a collection of them so i wouldnt have to hand pick them one by one, but reinstalling them didnt help at all.

i just disabled them all the mods and still getting missing icons and all the borked stuff.

Oh wow, so that's happening even without mods? How odd. Steam has a "Verify Files" function that will check your local install and redownload files that don't match, maybe try that? GOG Galaxy has something similar.

at the end i had to uninstall and made sure to delete any folder remnant from the game, reinstall the game and then reinstall the mods and its fine now... whatever was the "hidden" file that was doing the issue ill never know.
