anjenthedog
Back when I first started playing Skyrim SE (1.5.73), it was expected for players to "clean masters" That changed by the time ~v1.5.97 was current, and it was expected to NOT clean masters Since I just reinstalled Skyrim SE and am now operating on v 1.6.1170, I have to ask, are we still NOT cleaning masters, or are we now cleaning masters again? thanks. 7531Leonidas
If you plan to use DynDOLOD, then I believe cleaning (of all mods, not just masters) is required to run both TexGen and DynDOLOD. Otherwise, there seems to be controversy still... I cleaned my masters, and have not had any identifiable problems from that yet.
greyday01
I cleaned my masters, made an empty mod and placed all of the cleaned masters into it, restored the original esms (from copies I made), them placed my Cleaned Masters mod in my load list just below the original esms. I haven't had any problems with that set up.
