Initial sign in not working

Just installed the app, most recent version. No mods installed.

Trying to sign in sends me to the authentication page, like it's supposed to.

After clicking "authenticate" it says it worked and that I can go back.

The app is still showing me the link to the page and waiting.

I've tried using the token, I've tried waiting for over 10 minutes.

New to this stuff so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong?

This means that your browser isn't forwarding the login data back to the app properly. When you click to authenticate, you should get a prompt to say something like "Do you want to open this link in Vortex?".

I don't think I'm getting that. After hitting authorize it opens another tab saying authorization successful with a continue button underneath. After that it says vortex log in successful and takes me back to the homepage.

@npigeon29 What browser are you using? Firefox tends to have issues with Nexus Mods site in several areas, login being one of them.

Try doing the login with Chrome or Edge instead. Make sure you disable any ad-blockers or script blockers as well.
