Vortex purges all mods when changing *anything*

I'm running Vortex 1.13.7, installing mods for SkyrimSE.

I was installing some mods to overhaul Blackreach when all of a sudden, Vortex decides to purge all of my mods when I install, uninstall, enable, or disable any mod.
 

I changed no settings in Vortex whatsoever. The only thing I did between Vortex functioning and having this issue, was install mods like Blackreach Spores, The Blackest Reaches, High Poly Blackreach Mushrooms, etc.

If I disable auto-depoly in Vortex settings, all that does is let Vortex purge all of my mods, and just not re-deploy them automatically.

If you search for this in the forum you'll find previous threads. You've basically got something breaking the script extender or any mod that installs to the game root. Try reinstalling anything that puts files in the top level folder instead of data or overwrites the files from SKSE
