I activated Sun Haven in Vortex and got the message in the capture. I am going to paste the additional details below. I am also including a capture of the game version. I bought the game from Steam.

Update: Restarting Vortex fixed it, for now. I say that because I am not sure if it will happen again.

The I/O error is hardware issue with your D:\ - it might be temporary or it might be an early warning sign of an issue with that drive.

I see what you did there. The CPU is pretty old, so it is completely possible.
