Game started to stick on splash/loading screen.

Sometimes (more than sometimes really) my game has started to stick on loading screen. The Bethesda splash screen happens, that fades as it should  then it goes to the screen that says, continue, load etc but I get no response from the cursor, if I use the controller, I get the " selection sounds " and i can seem to select continue and it seems like the game loads because I get the ambient background noise. It almost seems it loads behind the loading screen. As it doesn't crash, I've got no crash log to look at. Any ideas ? Its frustrating as hell with no crashlog. Plugin list and load order list

I know it is tedious, but I would recommend disabling all mods then starting with the utility mods like script extender and engine fixes make sure they are the right version for your Skyrim exe and enable a few at a time and see if there is any problems. Check Loot messages also as you enable each set of mods. Use a save made with only the base game and DLCs for checking. Then enable a few more. Mods that have only meshes and textures can probably be enabled right at the start. Doesn't hurt to make sure your entire mod list is up to date that way while trying to find the problem mod.

Do you use and have you updated NVidia drivers within the past ~month or two? I see this during startup after a recent Nvidia Driver update that is now down-converting a larger footprint virtual canvas to 1080  "for improved detail" or something to that affect.

When it hangs in the oversized footprint "mode", just click inside it and it should readjust to fill only one screen.

It's also a bit "glitchy" on game unload,  when the graphics mode is reset

As for a real fix, idk, but if you find one, please post it...
