A Perfect LapTop

So i am thinking taking gaming to the next level, i was thinkin up grade Laptop to this it has 3 x 2TB M.2 SSD so then i be able to have Skyrim out of the programs files, so with

a Nvidia RTX 5090 a winner.

this "perfect" "LapTop" has a major issue and thats the CPU. With the combination of this CPU and the power hungry 5090, you will have something hot enough to smite skyrim swords. Is this your goal? i dont think so

If they put all that hardware in there, I suppose it is designed to handle the heat.    I would read the reviews anyway to see if this model has heat issues.

That said, getting  Core 9/RTX5090 just so you can "keep Skyrim out of Program Files" is ludicrous.

1.  My Skyrim is installed at its default path (under Program Files) with no issues.   If you got problems, likely you messed up your setup elsewhere.

2. If you still don't want it in Program Files, and only have a single SDD (C:), you can always create a 'Games' folder on C and then tell Steam to install  Skyrim in there, rather than default location.

3. If you are dead set on putting Skyrim on a different drive, and your laptop only has one SSD, practically ALL gaming laptops have a slot for an extra SSD.   Buying an SSD and sticking it into your current laptop is a whole lot less hassle than replacing the laptop.

Lulwut I didn't realise they figured out how to flatpack a 5090

Scroll down on the bar chart and you see the big chungus 5090 at the bottom at 268% the performance.
Still a crazy fast laptop, but the 4K is way overkill on only an 18" screen and effectively only makes games harder to run at native.
