DeityCHplayer
Agree with this. Actually, if you are the guy who's not usually use Vortex to manage your mods, like most of Capcom's games, we always use Fluffy to do it, you cannot easily to find all your downloaded mods with a "Update available" label on the web thumbnail. So when I got a game patch, I always went to the home page, clicked the filter and selected "Data Published" and "Downloads", checked one by one to figure out if there was any mods I need to update after the game patch. I dunno if there is any issues on creating a "My Downloaded Mods" filter on the home page, it will be more comfortable to update all the mods without any specific mod manager. p.s. I knew that you can go to the "Download History" page to check all your downloaded mod, but there is no label to tell me which one is "Update available", pretty sad
nokstella1701
It appears that the title I gave to my post when I made it was changed upon publishing. I'm guessing the moderation team chose to make it shorter. Unfortunately, this made it inconsistent with the issue I was actually describing. I'll give a random specific example from my download history. https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/2808 This mod has 171 files. I used it prior to the UI update. Back then, the notification for what you have downloaded was immediate. So you could pick and choose what you wanted, download a file, go back, easily find your place in the long list, proceed down the list from there to pick and choose again. With this new change of "5 minutes", you can no longer do that. And for big mods like this -- it is visually challenging to keep track of everything you have downloaded, or where you last stopped. That's what's bringing me back to the mod in less than 5 minutes. The meaning of my original post was that I'm actively downloading it. And it has over 100 files, and maybe I want only 10 of them, and maybe they're all named super similar, so even checking back with my Downloads in my browser I still keep losing my place and downloading the same file several times in a row. And maybe I can learn to live with it. But the fact is that the update used to be in real time. This is something that used to be a functionality on the website, and no longer is. It's a downgrade from something that existed. So I'm wondering if this is a functionality that could be brought back.
