Error when downloading collections

After a pause, I now can't install new collections in any game. Singular Mods still work but all collections don't. I already tried reinstalling Vortex but that didn't work. I lined the error message bellow. Here is the Details part:

I/O errors are usually related to a fault with your PC hardware so there's not much we can suggest from our side.

I'm in the same boat with the OP... Premium member, was able to download and install collections just fine last week. Individual mods work fine still. Downloading GTS keeps stalling and Vortex client keeps crashing. Fresh install from Steam, All anniversary edition collections installed, fresh Vortex install, download and staging folder set to D:\VortexMods... Internet is 1Gbps
