during the past couple years there've been a growing number of clothing/armor mods that include both non 3BA (ie static) and 3BA variants in their Bodyslide item listings.  So... do you fit both? Or does the last one fitted turn into the item available in game? (ex: they are both boots, or leggings, or whatever)

I admit it's probably a dumb question, but I'm asking anyway, in case they don't share the same output objects, or the 3BA variant is somehow dependent on the static. it's getting tedious not knowing and maybe doing more work than I need to.

When in doubt, I generally just run a Batch Build and select everything. Any items with conflicting options then show up there.

It is quite easy.  You select an outfit in BS, look at its output file in lower left.  If it is yellow or blue(blue means it is the default one), it means you have multiple outfits with that output file.  You can right click it to list all the contenders.  If static and 3BA are contenders for same output, you select and build only one.

As a rule, yes.

Normally, yes. But not always.

As I said, if the 3BA version and static 'CBBE' version output to the same file - which can be quickly determined by right-clicking the output file name - then they map to the same in-game item, and the last one built will overwrite any other alternative.    If 3BA and CBBE versions output to different files, then in-game, they will be mapping to different items.
