had to uninstall morrowind and reinstall it, well that caused a bit of a problem with TCS, first I seem to have lost a majority of the tca. files and NIF. files ( they show up in the game but not in the TCS) so I uninstalled TCS and reinstalled it and got this:

Chunk size 10 too big in chunk WEAT_ID in form REGN_ID Max size 8, data truncated to ( and it shows a square#squaresquaresquare)

so how did I F#@k up? any hellp will be greatly apreciated.

Well for your missing NIF/TGA file problem, that's because the Data Files themselves aren't installed by default for some stupid reason. You have to put in the TES CS CD and extract the Data Files manually into your Morrowind directory.

As for that whole WEAT_ID thing, I have a feeling that doesn't actually affect anything much... like the "Can't find spell 'brown rot'" error message in the game itself that you get sometimes. But I'm not sure.

Try reinstalling the CS. I know it may seem like this was your problem in the first place, but try it anyway. Sometimes funky stuff you have no control over happens during install of something. The first time I installed the Call of Duty expansion, some of the textures didn't install properly, making parts of the game unplayable, and others, really hard to. Just reinstalling the game fixed all those problems, and I have no idea what caused the bug in the first place. So try re-reinstalling, and see if it fixes things.

If nothing else works, copy your mod(s) and save file(s) if you have any and put them somewhere else, then remove any other traces of Morrowind off your computer. Then do a complete re-install. That's worked for me on several occasions.

  • 5 weeks later...
ok after a few months off ( I was playing SWG) I did a massive search and found out that all I had to do is reinstall bloodmoon, apparently sometimes when tribunial is installed it will effect the install of bloodmoon, so all I had to do is reinstall bloodmoon, didnt even have to do an uninstall :)
