austinator3 Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Long story here but to make it simple I've tried everything except contacting my isp to fix this. I fixed it temporarily, but I deleted the masterlist file once I got it to make one BECAUSE VORTEX SAID TO to try and fix something and now it won't reinstall no matter what I try. The way I fixed it before was getting rid of Net 3 which allowed my Net 6.0.27 to take over. Current SPECS vortex v.1.13.7 .Net v. 6.0.36 desktop runtime Windows 11 pro from W.10p Things I've tried Watched tutorial videos online on installing Vortex & Collection "Gate to Sovngarde". Nuked/reinstalled skyrimse files along with vortex and all mods from collection four times Nuked dotnet files multiple times & reinstalled with different versions of .Net 6. Allowed Vortex.exe, skyrimse.exe, & skse64 thru firewall & ransomware Renamed Vortex to Vortex_backup [got that from a tutorial video] Made my own masterlist folder once Made sure Vortex, Skyrimse, & steam are in C drive [ I do have multiple drives] Internet speed is solid Questions Would having two skse64 be a problem. Steam-Steamapps-Skyrimse has one & Vortex has one Why when I deleted and nuke .Net 6.0.27 and installed 6.0.36 would i see under downloads Vortex attempting to download 6.0.27. When I stopped and removed this from happening it doesn't show downloading the new fresh one?
Community Manager Solution Pickysaurus Posted May 22 Community Manager Solution Posted May 22 Your PC is blocking Vortex from fetching the masterlist from GitHub by the look of it. You can manually download the list and put it in the correct folder if you can't fix the issue. 1
austinator3 Posted May 24 Author Posted May 24 This did not solve the issue, I downloaded the masterlist and placed it into the correct folder i think, Things I've tried Watched tutorials on installing LOOT Installed LOOT and followed the instructions Tried updating masterlist file but ran into error Manually downloaded masterlist file and placed in Vortex-Skyrimse folder Tried organizing plugins inside of LOOT but ran into error Allowed loot thru firewall and ransomware
