Quin452 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I spec'd out my old gaming PC because Win11. I honestly got so excited for Bazzite, as it seems to do the trick really well ootb. Lutris finds all my games and I can play them without issue; I can even boot up the official launchers. However, the issue comes with modding. I've spent a long time tweaking things, and getting everything just right. I installed Vortex through Lutris, as I'm not sure if their is an alternative. And it works (eventually). A lot of trial and error, and learning! The only downside is that because it's so isolated, nxm files don't work (have to copy and paste the URL) and the mods aren't loaded when games are launched outside of Vortex. Inside, perfectly fine. Any ideas to make it fully working?
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted June 4 Community Manager Posted June 4 Vortex isn't intended to run on Linux so we can't really support you with it. Our new app is Linux compatible and supports Stardew Valley + Cyberpunk. More games are going to be added as development progresses.
ChemBoy1 Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Perhaps you should write up a guide on what you did to get it working. While Nexus Mods cannot provide official support for Vortex on Linux, the community can pool their knowledge and write guides on how they did it.
