I created a settlement in Nuka-World following SKK's guide as I did many times before in the Commonwealth, Far Harbor and even London. In all previous cases the results were perfect.

Not in Nuka-World:

Basically all looked just fine in Creation Kit, but when opening the esp plugging in FO4Edit the records for the Location were almost empty. More precisely, all the LocRefTypes were missing, as well as the Cells.

Once corrected in FO4Edit, the settlement was fine and passed all diagnosis tests of SKK's Worshop Ownership Utilities.

Is this a known bug in CK or something specific to my settings?

For the record, I am using CK v1.10.162.0 with CKPE v0.4 build 200, FO4Edit v 4.1.5, FO4 v 1.10.163.0

I cant speak for NW but CK has a tendency to break Location references. I noticed this with one of my latest updates on my own plugin. I never thought it could be part of CK or Locations tiself.

I recommend to double check (before after) with xEdit when doing CK location related edits.

Maybe its just some missing flags in the worldspace main records but i doubt it. Could be a flaw in the code itself?

Nuka World is special and broken when it comes to settlements.

As far as I remember they used the world location as a settlement location. Henceforth all minor settlement locations also belong to the bigger world-settlement location. So watch out for that.

This explains quite a lot. I will further check this.

Tenhats was able to create several working settlements in NW. I tested the one in the Shovel Museum with SKK's WOU and it is fine. I was also able to fix Erica's house from Viva Nuka World. Yet, another I made has still a location warning despite working fine in all other regards and looking in FO4edit identical to  the other two.

Nvm I reinstalled the CK, took a look and what I said was wrong.

I know that there was an issue though so I'll keep looking. There was a reason why Nuka World is special when it comes to settlements.

Creating new workshop locations in Nukaworld, when you load the ESP into CK look out for this type of warning:

MASTERFILE:    <CURRENT>         CELL 'SKKNWWorkshop00' (0100315B)    Cell 'SKKNWWorkshop00' (0100315B) has a hand tagged location and an encounter zone applied location. Hand tagged location will be ignored in game.

I forget how to fix that tho.
