3DTheft Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Why does the game work perfectly after installation, with no lag, but when I try to load a save, it crashes? I'm new to the game, I have no idea what problems it has. PS: I haven't installed any mods yet, and my operating system is Windows 11.

Pagafyr Posted July 19 Posted July 19 The pix that is being loaded when you Saved is more likely an image with a super large RES. and your settings for the game aren't able to easily load the image because it is too HUGE for your PC's video card to handle. Not enough VRAM in your Paging Files minimum load setting can cause that too. You can test the Paging File by going into Advanced settings and make the changes for minimum amount of RAM to one third of your RAM's capacity so it works better for gaming. Most people don't know that Windows OS is controlling that and if you're not using your PC for business it's a good idea to take charge of the Paging File's settings for more MB in the minimum setting of how much RAM it can use. My bet is that it's one of the mods you're using that was saved by the modder has an enormous pix in 4K from back when the modders had really nice and super video cards while us with our 1920x1080 res. with Windows 7's OS didn't so our video cards took forever to load or crashed because it took too long to load. Some games were still 640x480 res. Playing games with the res. at 640x480 and having a mod from a PC that's esp was saved in 1920x1080 caused my PC to crash when I ran it on my PC with the highest res. 640x480 it could handle made the load screen pix take for ever to finish after clicking on SAVE on that old systems settings.
