draighox
American bombers? What are you talking about?
TheDeadTree
I think he means destruction resulting from American weapons. Regular ground fire, tanks, mortars, depleted uranium, and the especially civilian-dangerous cluster bombs. Tell me more..
draighox
Yeah, the author of that article talks even about napalm. And I *am* going to believe him. (I think he smokes too much ;) )
Dark0ne
He's simply writing a report on eye witness accounts...stop being so numb headed.
draighox
OK, let's see. Are there any decent proofs? If there are, why doesn't UN do something about it? If there aren't... Well, I'll just say that if I hated US, I could tell the same about napalm, drunk pilots and whatever else I could imagine. There are just too many people who like to whine about everything. I wonder if they could do that in Iraq before the invasion.
Morgoth
The UN doesn't do anything about it because the US can veto just any decision they don't like.
TheDeadTree
*Cough* *clears throat* Is it really so hard for you to believe the US is using Napalm? When it was banned in 1980 by the UN, the US was the only country to not ratify the treaty.
draighox
Obviously, UN could at least suggest US to stop this. But they don't, for some reason.
TheDeadTree
So.. it's now the UN's fault because they're not pushing the US to stop what it's doing? This whole mess BEGAN because the US wouldn't work with the UN in the first place. What would sending over a box of chocolates and a polite "stop killing people" Hallmark card solve? draighox
Nope, that merely indicates that US are doing nothing wrong, since UN doesn't have problem with them about napalm and civilian deaths. If fact, no-one has, except for a few whiney people. If they were doing something wrong, UN could announce it officially so that other countries push US to stop "bombing civilians".
