JakeZor
I am very new to the CS, so I'm still very confused and don't have much of an idea what I'm doing. I downloaded a very nice *resource* and was messing around with it, trying to begin making a Mead Hall for a castle I want to make. The cell I started with looked like *this.* Everything's going great, I have a setup I really like going on. I spent a few hours doing this. So I save and close. Later, I go back to work on it, and I open the cell I was working on. But suddenly, *THIS!* All the objects I placed in there are okay and still there, but all the walls, floors, ceilings, and everything are gone. Is there any way I can fix this? :(
AncientSpaceAeon
You maybe forget activating the resource's esp, so the wall's object at the esp it's gone because no resource, then after you saved it again, the walls are gone forever. So even after that you enabled the resource's esp, it's no used because you already saved the esp with no walls. This is what I think, I never experience or test this, maybe anyone knows this better than me, this is the only thing I can think. Don't blame me if I'm wrong, this is the only thing I can think of. JakeZor
No, that's not it. The only time I would have actually been able to open it without the resource would be when I opened it again and noticed it like that in the first place... Thanks, though. Edit: I tried doing it again, I copy/pasted everything I had into a new copy of the original cell. I had the same problem, after I made special care to make sure I enabled the necessary ESP. alex2avs
Don't forget to add the Mead hall exterior and interior as static Objects in the CS editor. And the doors in the doors Section ;) or , open the .esp resource but before that mark him as active . JakeZor
I don't actually have an exterior/door or anything. I was just working on trying to make an interior cell look half-way decent before I even think about an exterior. But uh... How do I add them as static objects? alex2avs
source : http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index...dding_an_Object To add an item to the database, simply select the category you want with the tabs, and press the INSERT key. This will open a window containing the object data. This window can also be opened by right-clicking in the Object Window and selecting New from the popup menu. JakeZor
I already knew how to put Objects in, and all the objects I put in remained fine. But it was the walls/floors/etc from the original cell that went away.
