tehcheesepuff
I recently installed a few mods (Better Imperfect Water, BTMod, Stylish Jump - Animation Replacer, Sephs True Acrobatics) and none of them are working. There aren't any signs of error, they just aren't showing up. Basically my game acts like a vanilla version (with DLC's) as if no mods were even there. These are the first mods I've installed on Oblivion, so there shouldn't be any incompatibilities. I have the Oblivion Content Validator and Oblivion Mod Manager. I also have all the DLC's which all work perfectly. I've downloaded tons of Fallout 3 mods which worked fine, so I think I have a fair idea of what I'm doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! alex2avs
1. Check if the mods are checked in the OblivionLauncher (jsut to be sure)2.Check (again) if every mod it's installed correctly. Meshes to meshes , textures to textures , esps. esms. to data.3. If this doesn't work download BSA Patcher form tesNexus and run it from your data folder.. This is the only utility that I trust when it's about ArchiveInvalidation and it works with OBMM too.
AncientSpaceAeon
The fact that you got tons of Fallout 3 mods, it's official that you are not a newbie of these kind of stuff. But you should give us more info so we can solved the problem. Do you follow the readme ? Do you ever uninstall then reinstall oblivion ? Do you meet the requirements (like obse, patch, etc) ? You should give us more info so we can solved your problem.
tehcheesepuff
I just purchased and installed Oblivion 5 days ago, so I've never reinstalled Oblivion. I always follow the readme and I meet the requirements for all my mods. Thanks for replying quickly. EDIT: I actually don't have OBSE yet, but I don't think any of the mods I installed required it. tehcheesepuff
Err, actually the "Stylish Jump - Animation Replacer" is one thing. :P Anyways, I'm doing what you suggested, and thanks for replying. Oh, and just for clarity, is this the BSAPatcher you are referring to? http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4352
tehcheesepuff
Holy frijoles! It's working! Thanks a hell of a lot! My BTMod still isn't working though, and neither is the Imperfect Water one.
alex2avs
for imperfect water : I think you should play with the video options of Oblivion (while the game is active/not those available from the Launcher)
XJDHDR
3. If this doesn't work download BSA Patcher form tesNexus and run it from your data folder.. This is the only utility that I trust when it's about ArchiveInvalidation and it works with OBMM too.I personally use ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated (BSA Redirect in OBMM) as it can cause less problems than BSA Alteration.
