If my small guns skill is at 100, does aiming with iron sights become useless? Or is there an accuracy increase?

the accuracy applies to the projectile deviation... 100% accuracy wrongly aimed will grant 100% failing to hit it :)

 

If you can aim a fly eye without the iron sights you'll get it. So the answer is, the iron sights will better your aiming, not the weapon accuracy.

 

PS: Low skill ads a proportional random factor to degrade accuracy, the weapon itself will aways play a role... that circle is the ratio of possible projectile's variation, for the better you can aim. Not sure though if the game (or mod) will give a better weapon's 'steadiness' for using the iron sights.

Alright gotcha. Thanks, the reason I asked is because im using a test pack with various custom weapons, but Im also using the RH_IronSights mod by Roguehollow (spelling? lol)

The Iron sights mod replaces the first person aiming anims and I forgot to back up my anims before install (gold star for me lol) and now when whenever I am one of those custom weapons it clips horribly bad whilst in first person aiming down the iron sights. ANyways, thanks for help :)
