xuxaglock
Hey. Been using alot of mods lately and ive been really liking some of these new races people have made. I like being able to play as them but I was wondering if there was a way to add npcs of mod races to the game? Anyone know how to do this or have a link to something that does? Thanks in advance
AncientSpaceAeon
Easy, if you want to do it yourself, open the CS, enable the race mod's esp, just make a NPC in the CS, then choose the race (custom race), customize the NPC, then put it somewhere in Cyrodiil. Then save the esp, then enabled the esp and the race's esp. Easy, easy, easy. That's the simple description, but if you know to use CS I'm sure you can do it.
xuxaglock
Ive been trying to use the CS but when I save my NPC and try to reload it doesnt remember that I have taken parts from a custom race even when I load the data with it. Is there a tutorial for this anywherE?

If you really want to do it: 1. 1) Use a tool like TES4Gecko to convert custom race plugin to master file(.esm).2) Run CS. Check newly created .esm.3) Make a NPC. After editing, save your plugin.4) Use TES4Gecko or Wrye Bash to change master list of your plugin. 2. 1) Use Wrye Bash to ESMify custom race plugin.2) Run CS, Check ESMified plugin, but do not activate it.3) Make a NPC, save your plugin.4) Use Wrye Bash to ESPify custom race plugin. xuxaglock
Thanks. I think I understand all of that except the part about using Gecko to change the master list of the plugin. What exactly do you mean. Sorry I'm new to this. All I want is to make one Npc, using the Corean race mod, that I can have at my house to look sexy and greet me when I come home lol :) or not even greet me, just be hanging out there or something.
