TheUndert0ker
I tried recruiting some kids from the caves once, but they have no ability to fight and ended up getting killed. Yeah, I'm evil. But, a kid running around in mini-power armor wielding a gatling gun would be hilarious. Maybe I could use the geck to modify their AI scripts so they can fight? Best would be to find a kid with combat skills, but I'm not aware of any.
gsmanners
Well, you could just "setscale 0.85" on an adult. How would you know the difference if they're wearing power armor?
evilneko
I donno anything about Sharing and Caring, but Enhanced Children has a mercenary plugin. There is a project in the works to replace the plugin with a new version (as a separate mod) with more features. You can check out the thread over at CotW here. VerbalEarthworm
open the console (~or¬), click on any human npc, type: AgeRace -1 if old they will become adult, if adult they will become child, if they are already child then nothing will happen. "AgeRace 1" works in reverse. for the player, type: player.agerace -1 (or 1) using this method, you could make everyone children (or pensioners). it will affect the voice though, as most of the dialog is specific to the age of the npc, so someone who had unique replies as an adult will lose them (and mouth silently) as a child (and vice verse). but you could turn on subtitles :P the "real deal" would involve editing the morale, stats and general usefulness of vanilla children via the GECK (they are programmed to run away, you could change that to Foolhardy)
gsmanners
Will that really affect the voices? I've used agerace (and even sexchange) without noticing any difference in the voice. The weird thing was listening to an adult talk like a child or vice versa.
VerbalEarthworm
so someone who had unique replies as an adult will lose them (and mouth silently) as a child for instance, you will never hear child-Clover say "Can I do anything for you? Or... to you?"
