Got a couple questions

Okay, I'm not gonna lie. I'm lazy. I just reinstalled Oblivion for the first time in a few months and the only thing stopping me from playing is the knowledge of just how much hunting and configuring I have to do to get the mods I want working. A great deal of new stuff seems to have come out from the preemptive digging that I've done, but the only confusion I'm having is when there are so many versions/types of one mod that I don't know which one to get. Here's what I know I need:

Official Oblivion Patch

Unofficial OP

Wrye Bash

OBMM

BOSS

Pluggy (I don't know what this is)

Here's the stuff I would like some advice on:

Better Weather ( so many versions I have no idea which one is the most recent)

Most recent male body replacer (Rob's is still the best I assume?)

Some recommendations on female body replacers (I used to just use Exnem's and the number of different types in HGEC just confuses me)

Better Landscapes (I vaguely recall something called Natural Environments...?)

High res textures (I finally have the RAM and videocard to support this)

The most recent/best mod for making Oblivions characters not look like crap (Ren's still?)

Any other mods that you think would be great, I am open to suggestion!

I can figure out armor and weapon installation on my own as I have done plenty of that in the past (barring the thousand variants of the same HGEC armor), I just need pointing to these files and basic literacy will get me through the readme. Thanks for any help guys!

P.S. - I don't have Shivering Isles, but would be willing to go buy it if I am missing out of some great mods that require it (the Oblivion plot does not interest me so I wouldn't be getting it for that.)

HGEC is very cool.

You just have to pick out what body type you want. They have a preview option before choosing. And there's an omod version too so that makes it easy to install.

But there are tons of people here who are much better at answering all of your questions. I just wanted to let you know the HGEC is not so confusing. If it were, I wouldn't have it

in my game.

You can install any weather mod you like, though you cannot use them all at once(you can only use one of them at once).

- Natural Environments (Since it's modular, you can use or ditch any one of those parts)

= Arthur Natural Environments (Combined with AWS, and tweaked NE)

- Atmospheric Weather System

- Enhanced Weather

- Weather-All Natural (If you want to see weather patterns of all above and natural interior)

Robert's is still the most popular one. The lastest one is v4, but you can find v5 beta.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I am currently collecting a mass of mods I want to work and will playtest them one at a time (though I am really trying to avoid any known conflicts). Unnecessary Violence sounds amazing so I'll definitely have to check that out.
