I feel it would add much more immersion to the game to build up a relationship and THEN marry, rather than simply find someone to be your wife. Automatically having a wife, or getting one whom you wouldn't know so well would break immersion for me. Sounds like this mod has great potential. Good luck to you and cant wait to see this mod uploaded

Birrii
Well, you DO have a family if you have the Frostcrag Spire expansion, but your uncle is dead, though. But there is a "date Eyja" mod (the servant in Rosenthorn Hall in Skingrad), but I don't know if it has a "make a baby"-stage, because I've never tried it. But about the 16-yeasr later thing: I don't want to grow old... o.O But I hope the best things will happen, and that this mod will be created!Good luck! Eshenaleros
well... we could do a scripting bit where it forwards the clock by 16 years, if that's possible... make your character a bit older while keeping the continuity accurate. of course, this option should only be available after averting the oblivion crisis

Nexus Set
Reading the first post, I couldn't help thinking an Oblivion and The Sims crossover? o_O Personally, I think it's too far-fetched to work. There are a few available companion mods in TESNexus with a romance storyline if that's what you're interested in. Or you can have your CM partners as an adoptive family... XD As far as having children in Oblivion, haven't you ever wondered where all those li'l buggers went? There just aren't any children in Tamriel. >.>
