Daigoro Posted August 20, 2003 Share Posted August 20, 2003 how are you goin to learn 3d modelling? because im interested in learning it too, (i have 3ds max but dont know how to use it!!!) so if you find any good tutorials or whatever please forward them on to me, id be very grateful.... also good luck to you and peregrine on that new mod, god i wish i could help, but all i know is tescs, and i doubt you need any help with that by the looks of things... also your new seyda neen house sounds pretty good, i may dload it after i get my new mod (apollo 13) properly up and running... cheers, and keep up the good work! thanateros Posted August 21, 2003 Author Share Posted August 21, 2003 well that's kinda hard to describe since i'm pretty much only using the program for texturing and some possible mesh editing. i do all of the actaul modeling in ACAD 2000i, why? because the program was designed for arcitecture and is extremely precise, so it leaves less room for errors. you could check out the 3D Cafe, i know they have some good free (love that work) tuts on how to make some stuff. i dunno if it pertains to morrowind directly, but before you can start working on your own work it's best to familiarize yourself with the program. thanateros Posted August 21, 2003 Author Share Posted August 21, 2003 Ok remeber how it was going to take several weeks to make a model, well thanks to Peregrine for sitting me down in his dorm and showing me moddeling stuf this morning (ET here) got a basic sword design in ACAD and have a pic for you guys. remember, it's just barely finished with the model and it still has a TON of work in ACAD before i start to play around in 3ds. But here's a basic sword cutout as to give you a look at the style of the weapons that i will be working on for the mod. ok it's working now, or should be at least, here's a sample of what the model will most likely look like from the side (with a few minor changes). hope you enjoy.Sword Model Screen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
