gsmanners
The level cap exists because they like to use enemies with static levels (and stats). You'll notice a lot of them tend to be either level 7 or level 14. There's no reason for it. I mean, the companions level up to the same level you're at or better. It's probably just design laziness. It's possible they were going to try to make it multiplayer initially but then couldn't for one technical reason or another. In multiplayer, you obviously don't want a lot of level 7 noobs getting griefed by level 700 jerks. :)
KillyAeon
Yeah you're pretty right.I mean the game is not much fun after you max your level out but sadly I've never heard that the cap would be increased. If they were going to make such a change they would tell it first of everything. Save Us Sloth
I think its quite obvious in Broken Steel that they were really running out of ideas for perks.Yeah, i agree with that, Broken steel perks looked a bit cheap like the karma perks for instance (take this perk and your karma will instantly set to evil) it's not hard to get evil karma. Same with the nuka cola quantum one that was a bit stupid since as you could make a bigger prophit with 10 nuka cola's then just 1 Quantum. Anyway i'm lvl 24 and i've completed fallout 3, broken steel and point lookout and a couple of side quests (not much), but i would still like a level adjustment to 40 just as long as the perks get better unlike broken steel perks. evilneko
Quantums are worth more than their VAL. ;)
